For many in Bedford, Herd will need no introduction. Known for their fantastic burgers, good vibes, and their top notch Sunday roasts!

You can find Herd on St Cuthbert’s Street, it’s vibrant mural will draw you in. The terrace and bar are a fantastic spot for summer drinks, the restaurant is laidback and cool with an industrial feel. No one throws a party like Herd either, I've spent some wild nights within these walls. Keep an eye out on their social media for all of their events.
The menu is filled with deliciousness to discover, the burgers are the best in Bedford and go very well with the loaded fries or fried chicken. But even better than the burgers is their famous Sunday roast. I can't tell you how many recommendations I had to try it, which is why it was my first stop on my hunt for the best roast dinners in Bedfordshire.

The roast dinner is very generous with a couple of different meats to choose from and served with bottomless servings of roast potatoes and gravy, as well as a selection of veg. All cooked beautifully and at a decent price too. Make sure to order the cauliflower cheese, it's without a doubt one of the best I've ever had.

However, if you're after a real treat, you NEED to order the Herd sharing roast dinner! This unbelievable feast has to be preordered so make sure to let them know when you book. We visited as a table of 4 and we were overwhelmed by how much food it included, luckily it meant we had lots of leftovers to enjoy too!
One of Bedford town's finest, long live Herd!
